What is advertisment?
First, did you know what is Advertisment before we discuss more about advertisment? Advertisements are messages paid for by those who send them and are intended to inform or influence people who receive them, as defined by the Advertising Association of the UK.
An advertisement is a piece of content that Commerce Server delivers on a Web site based on a specific formula for delivery referred to as Need of Delivery (NOD), The Content Selection Framework (CSF) processes the variables that you specify for an advertisement: campaign goaling, exposure limit, schedule, weight, page groups, and target expressions. Advertisment is also the action of making generally known; a calling to the attention of the public. Or also can be a paid announcement, as of goods for sale, in newspapers or magazines, on radio or television, etc.
Kinds of advertisment that we already know.
1.      Gunn's first format is the "demo." This is a visual demonstration of a product's capabilities. You've seen hundreds of demo ads on late-night TV, for things like kitchen knives (watch it slice through that tin can!) and stain removers (it can't possibly erase that red wine blotch—and yet!). Some of the ads introducing Apple's iPhone are just straight-up demos, pointing out the product's features as the viewer looks on.
2.      The second format is "show the need or problem." First, you make it clear that something's not up to snuff in the consumer's life. Then, you introduce the remedy—which is, of course, the product you're selling.
3.      Traditional Modes of Advertising. Advertising makes use of several tools and techniques to attract the customers outdoors. The most common examples of outdoor advertising are billboards, kiosks, and also events and trade-shows organized by a company. For instance, an advertisement in a relatively new and less popular newspaper will cost far less than an advertisement in an established newspaper that has a high readership. 4.       Modern Types of Advertising. Surrogate advertising is prominently seen in cases where advertising a particular product is banned by law. Today, we know that many public service advertising has been increasingly used in a non-commercial fashion in several countries across the world in order to promote various social causes. In the United States, radio and television stations are granted to bidders on the basis of a fixed amount of public service advertisements aired by the channel. Covert advertising is a unique kind of advertising, in which a product or a particular brand is incorporated in some entertainment.
5.      Mail shot. a letter or advertisement sent to many people at the same time.

The evolution from steel to digital took many turns along its way, such as print fliers hoping to get young men to fight in the Revolutionary War, billboards spurred by the rise of automobiles, electric banner ads following the invention of the light bulb (Times Square's first went up in 1882) and direct marketing with the nascent postal service.

1941: First advertisment on TV.
1981: MTV was launch, and after that so many advertisment which displays famous actor.
1994: Pay per click keyword advertisment was launch. Debut was at GoTo.com (Yahoo.com)
2000: Google ad word
2007 until now: Facebook inc was start to be famous and so many people know facebook as social media, which can be able to more easy make good advertisment. After that, online advertisment be the first choice which choosen by businesses people to promote their product.

Now, is that any therm which must be able if we want to make some advertisment? Every Advertisement must comply with and is subject to these terms and conditions as well as other relevant terms (as available at www.newscorpaustralia.com), space or insertion orders (or other written agreements between the parties including any Advertising. This clause does not in any way derogate from Advertiser’s obligations or liabilities in relation to such Advertisements.
Every proposal for the distribution of sample material is subject to Publisher’s approval and publisher may at its absolute discretion at any time refuse to distribute any sample material without giving any reason.
Publisher may, without prior notice to Advertiser, refuse or cease to distribute any sample
material, if Publisher reasonably perceives such material to be:
a. in breach of any applicable law or regulation,
b. likely to attract legal claims or proceedings of any kind; or
c. offensive.
Publisher makes no representation or warranty as to the number of the relevant publication to be distributed on any particular day or that every copy of the relevant publication will be provided with a sample but will take reasonable steps to ensure that the sample and the relevant publication are distributed together.
